During February half term Spectrum WASP Teen’s Club just took our breath away with an outstanding performance of the play ‘The Dapper Badger’, a moralistic and lively piece focused on Badger, a young homeless person experiencing Autism, who lives unknown to our retired couple – Mavis & Ernest, in their Garden Shed.
Despite exploring serious issues, the play is driven by humour and fun to perform. Each member of our cast of ‘Teen’s’ made the part their own – with confidence, character, kindness and support to each other. It’s our first Performance/Play and made a FABULOUS evening of outstanding ‘Proudness’ for each and every Parent/Carer watching in the audience on the night.
We would like to say a ‘BIG Thank You’ to Writer/Director Alan Dawson (Local Playwright) and also Sandy/Emma who helped Support our ‘Teen’s’ from Under the Headstocks Theatre Group.
Our Teens are already talking about their next Performance. You were all just Brilliant!!
Well done – Josh, Charlie, Abbey, Charlotte, Thomas, Lucas, Owen, Kelly & Nicole!
