Teens Refine Dining and The Hair & Beauty Academy Tour

@ West Notts College with Tutor Jo Wilson – Spectrum WASP Teens (14-18yrs) are able to enjoy a “Quiet Time Tour” of West Notts Refine Dining and The Beauty Academy @ Vision West Nottinghamshire College, Derby Road, Mansfield, NG18 5BH…To meet at 4.45pm to start the tour at 5.00-6.15pm
Refined is much more than your average dining experience: it is a restaurant that helps young people to gain employability.
The restaurant is run by students, both front of house and chefs. It is run by a hierarchy, with the Level 3 students taking on the supervisory roles and the Level 2 students in training. We also have Entry Level 3 and Level 1 learners that infill into the restaurant as part of their work experience.
The Hair/Beauty qualification has been designed to prepare you for employment as a supervised assistant/apprentice or for further learning in the hairdressing and beauty therapy industries within college with the courses covering the Hair and Beauty Sector, presenting a professional image in a salon, create a hair and beauty image, Nail art (not including nail extensions or gel). Essential skills for employment and Reception skills.
