Teen’s Club 11-18yrs – ‘ALein EXpress’

Written by our Friend/Guest Alan Dawson who will be running our DRAMA GROUP, for those 11yrs+ who would like to take part in our next Play, to be performed in October Half Term, – Script Reading tonight, alongside our discussion into Parts for the Play, alongside a Conference workshop.. Meeting at Pine House, Ransom Wood, 6.00-8.00pm, Snacks/Juice provided, Actors from the Headstocks Theatre Group may join us (Sandy/Emma)

A bit from Alan regarding ALein Express:
“Communication is key to our lives; without it we are unable to say how we feel or ask others for what we need. Without good communication even something as simple as shopping can become problematic/ difficult.
In the autumn 2022, the young people from Spectrum Wasp are presenting a conference concerned with communication – the conference is based around Alan Dawson’s short play, ALein EXpress (yes that how it is spelt) and their own experiences.
ALein EXpress relates the story of the ALein, Zog, who finds himself stranded in a supermarket surrounded by Earthlings who aren’t really all that good at communication. There are activities integral to the piece.
The young people of Spectrum Wasp are challenged with putting together the conference in three days to engage/educate the audience.”
