A Massive Well Done To One Of Our Young People -Josh’s Story

Spectrum WASP would like to say a “HUGE” Well Done to one of our Young People Josh…..

Josh had been dancing and competing in Ballroom and Latin from the age of 3 years old until the age of 12….

But decided to give it up as he found the competitive side of the the competitions abit too challenging as well as having to learn ten dance’s for competitions at a time…So it all got abit too much for him mentally and physically…

After a few years Josh’s dance teacher asked if he wanted to compete in the additional needs competitions….Of which he only had to dance to dancers and wouldn’t be as competitive…

Josh gave it ago and last November became the area champion in Ballroom and Latin….

In April he went to Blackpool to compete in the Nationwide finals IDTA Ballroom and Latin finals at the Winter Gardens…
Josh’s dance was on the Sunday morning and by the afternoon he was the Champion of the under 16 Additional Needs Ballroom and Latin Competition…

We are so very proud of Josh getting back into dancing and his amazing achievement…
